To shape the novel interface of our applications we are looking for HTML5 and JavaScript ninjas with excellent skills in jQuery or similar frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience writing expert level CSS, and clean (X)HTML markup
• Deep understanding of common template engines
• Familiarity with Django or Ruby on Rails and REST APIs (json)
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks
• Knowledge of SEO techniques
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
• Fluent English

Software Heroes

Hacking great software at HEROLABS is challenging but always great fun! As a (Senior) Software Engineer you will design and implement our next generation reality game in a team of 5-6 experienced and passionate developers. Our high concurrent server will be built using Clojure, MongoDB, and other suitable technologies. The system will be designed and implemented from scratch with no weird legacy code involved. We currently offer various positions on a senior and architecture level.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, PhD is a plus
• 5+ years experience in designing and developing highly scalable web architectures
• Expert knowledge in modern web technologies, protocols, frameworks, and languages like Clojure/Compojure/Noir, Scala/Lift, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or Java
• Deep understanding of the functional programming paradigm
• Proven skills in designing robust application APIs (REST, json) and solid understanding of the twitter and FB Open Graph API
• In-depth knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases
• Experiences with cloud based software development and deployment (AWS, GAE, heroku, github)
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
• Fluent English

Mobile Heroes
